time at the Rancho Cordova library
A few weeks ago, I joined Rancho Cordova Cradles to Crayon playgroup. This is a group of stay at home Moms and some working moms, who are primarily from the Rancho Cordova area. Today is my first meeting with the groups. The event for today was held at the Rancho Cordova library at 10:20am. Chris at work so there's no way Chris can drive me there and I don't want to bother friends to drive me there. I urge myself to take a bus just so Casey and I can able to meet the Moms and the kids. This morning, I am hesitant to attend but I already rsvped and too late to change it. And also, I want to see the Rancho Cordova library. Casey and I made it to the library on time. I have no problems riding a bus with Casey because she enjoys and loves it! Anyway, this is our first to ride a bus just Casey and I and no friends with us this time. Casey had so much fun there and I enjoyed talking with the moms. What a brave day for me today. I went out to meet American moms & took bus just me and Casey. I'm glad we went and we are home safe! I've been Miss busy bee lately... Hi, I’m back updating my website again. I didn’t realize almost a month now that I did not update my website. I’ve been Miss busy bee lately doing my homework and also I’ve been sick for a week or so. My husband and my daughter were sick too. We’re all sick for a week...geee! I missed one day of my class. I hate being absent from the class but I have no choice but stay home and relax. I didn’t go to work either in 3 days (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). Anyway, we’re all doing fine now except we have coughing still. I’m hoping to be back to work tomorrow. Last Monday, I had my job interview at Quiznos. I am hesitant to go there because I am sick but I did it anyway. She offered me the job twice as sub maker and sometimes will do as cashier, Monday to Friday. The work will start 9am to 3pm. I would love to accept and try this job but I have no way to get there. I consider taking a bus but I have to walk 1 mile. Chris doesn’t want me to do that and also we have Casey to take care of. I decided not to accept the offer but I am really sad because I would love to try the job. I was thinking it will be a good experience for me. Anyway, I have class yesterday and I did oral presentation last night. I’m nervous when I did my presentation but glad Professor didn’t notice it. She made a comment that she didn’t see any sign of nervousness during oral presentation of the students. I am very nervous but this time my oral presentation is better than my first presentation. I didn’t miss any single word of my presentation. I have to work of my speaking because I didn’t realize I talk very fast…I‘m done with my presentation before the beep. One thing my Professor comments was I talk very fast even in my recording. When I tried to do my recording assignment, I made a lot of mistakes but when I tried to make it slow and talk my normal way was less mistakes. So I have to work on that. Anyway, everything is fine and I notice I overcome my shyness a little bit and build up a little confidence of myself.
Casey, the Princess Cinderella
Casey and I attended Kathleen's 4th birthday party. Kids are welcome to wear their favorite Princess dresses as stated on the invitation. Since Casey loves everything about Cinderella. She choose Princess Cinderella dress! She doesn't' want me to call her Casey. She want me to be her called Princess Cinderella...lol Thank you, Kathleen for inviting Casey and I to your fabulous birthday party. We enjoyed the party. The food were all yummy!
