My Precious Gem

I was wide awake last night writing a poem for my daughter. I always wanted to make one for her when she was a baby but didn't get a chance to do it. And last night was a perfect timing for me to write.

I choose a title "My precious gem" because she is a very precious to me and priceless. She is God's gift, one of a kind gem because she is especially created by God. I am so blessed to have her!  Check out the poem below...thanks!

 My Precious Gem by: Nelly I steadfastly waited for you, at last you’re here The gift is revealed and unwrapped with a great surprise! You caught my greatest attention, examining your tiny body You were so tiny and stout Yet saw braveness in you I was thrilled to touch you for the first time Co’z you were stunning gem, one of a kind creation No wonder I couldn’t take my eyes off of you When the moment I saw you. You are the most precious thing I’ve ever seen The unending impression manifest solely in me You were so delightful You’ve own unique characteristic that no one has A very fragile thing that demands tender loving care I am pleased you are God’s gift to me A gift I have been waiting for… A beautiful creation, preemie, my precious gem! My heart is overflowing of joy, shed with tears of happiness Finally you’re here Thanks to the heavens above I have you I call you my precious gem, my daughter A daughter that is worth to be cherished forever -cnlane-
