5 Year Anniversary Celebration
Posted on August 8, 2008 Category: Family time

Chris and I celebrated our 5-year Anniversary yesterday. We had candle light dinner at home. I received a beautiful card from him that I love it so much when I opened the card I heard the theme song of my favorite movie ever “GHOST” I felt the music echoed in my heart. I got Shrek card from my lovely daughter. I asked her if the card is really meant for me or for her. She likes Shrek and she answered me, it is for her because it is her Anniversary too! Chris and I laughed when she commented that. I made a card for Chris that contained 15 things I like about him and of course with the help of my daughter. Chris bought for me a pound of Steamed king crab legs from red lobster. It is very good and I enjoyed it.

The dinner was wonderful, Chris enjoyed his pizza and Casey enjoyed her popcorn shrimp. We made it to 5 years and of course we were continually counting and hoping for more years. There’s lot of going on in our 5 years of marriage. For better or for worse, yup, we’ve been through that famous line, I always hears that in every wedding. If things get rough…just go back to the first time on how the love blossomed. It will help for sure. And I believe the most powerful tool for the relationship to remain strong is prayer. Just hang on to that, don't ever underestimate the power of prayer. It is my guide! And of course don't forget to say The powerful three words "I love you". It is my favorite word at home. Chris and Casey might be tired of hearing it from me...I just love it and it makes my day bright. They will always hear me use those three words as long as I live because if my time ends I have no way to express how much I love them and how they made me complete as human being. They are my life! I thanked the Lord for having them.

Mom & Dad, we love the giro helmets and the beautiful e-card. Thank you! Here's the photos from our Anniversary celebration yesterday. Check out the song below I made for Chris, nothing fancy though but it comes from the heart.

Library Stuff Goodies
Posted on August 27, 2008 Family Time

We were off to library yesterday. I wanted to go look there if they have the HTML book that I can borrow and book for Chris that he needed for his online class. Unfortunately, they don't have the book Chris was looking for and the book I was looking for but they've got a few selection of books that made me interest to borrow, which I did. I grabbed two books off the bookshelves called Website Design Goodies and Blogging for dummies, these will keep me busy reading for a week. And of course we got a few children books for Casey and few DVD's!

Casey had fun time yesterday at the library. They have computer for educational learning intended only for children to play with. Each kid is allowed to play the computer for about 30 minutes only and it automatically log you off. Unless there's no kids waiting in line for it. This will let the other kids get a chance to play the computer. They have also coloring paper for kids to color. Crayons was set on the table for those kids would like to color. What a great place to visit with family. And they have every Wednesdays story time for kids. They have  a lot of good stuff  for you to get that won't cost you anything just make sure you return the stuff they lend from you before the due date.

One thing, I can see a problem is, Casey was making too much noise She got excited with all the books and toys they have. It's difficult for her not to make noise. I have to teach her to learn to be quiet at times especially on a certain places like the Library. I'd notice when I was near on the magazines aisle they have magazines that you can buy for $.25 each. It is very cheap, for sure you can save a few bucks by visiting your local library. They have computer for you to use and also on this hot weather, one of the best place to cool off is library and this also prevent you for using your AC when you were at your house. Just a thought! LOL Picture above are the stuff we borrowed yesterday!

Splash one more time
Posted on August 28, 2008 Category: Family time

We just got home from swimming. We finally tried the Blairmore pool. This is our first time to be in the pool. Chris lives here for 9 years and he never tried the Blairmore pool Well, he have no choice now, Casey and I wants to be in the pool and he needs to go with us...lol

This is free, so we have to take advantage of what the apartment has to offer. I am not fan of swimming  pool and also I don't know how to swim and not interested to learn but Casey enjoyed it and she was trying to learn how to swim. She was wishing she was a mermaid  like Ariel,  what a scary wish!

Father's day
Posted on June 15, 2008 Category: Family Time

This morning, Casey and I got up before Chris. Casey was excited to greet her daddy happy father's day. She wanted me to wake her daddy up but I told her. We'll just let daddy sleep for now. I asked her if she could help me prepare breakfast for daddy, she seems happy to do it.

We headed to the kitchen and prepared breakfast but Casey keeps going back and forth to the bedroom to see if her daddy is awake. But Chris got up before the breakfast was ready. Casey handed to her daddy the card. And she told him, that's my card for my pop pop, I said to Casey, no, the card is for your daddy. The card for pop pop was already mailed and probably he'll get it by now.

Anyway, as we planned, we were off to Sacramento Zoo this morning. Chris wanted to spend the day in the Zoo with Casey and I. Casey wasn't quite interested, she's not into animals I guess. We had fun at zoo; I think we spent about 2 hours there. We felt hungry so we decided to head off to parking lot to get our stuff for our picnic. We had wonderful lunch at the park, not much people were there today, though we expected that it might be crowded since it's father's day.

After lunch, we headed to Funderland, which is free to get in but you purchase for the rides. Chris and Casey were enjoying the flying dragon roller coaster. Watching them in the roller coaster wasn't fun for me at all but they're enjoying. It's scary! We all had fun and we headed home at 4:30pm. We shot a bunch of pictures today, click the photos to see. Happy Father's day to all the fathers/Step-Fathers and foster Fathers out there.
