Thankful

Ah, it’s been awhile since I updated my website. And to be honest, I feel like I’m losing my writing appetite. I’m not so busy that I can't write something here or even just upload pictures. I just haven't been able to focus lately and my thoughts have been revolving around things that are worthless.

Looking back, I am simply grateful to the numerous blessings I received last year, as a wife and a mother and a friend. Everything was great. The Lord really has blessed me….I have been through a lot and hopefully I have matured from those experiences. Someone once said that just like tea, you wouldn't know how tough you are until you're dipped in hot water. I'm actually praying that I mature more this year, and be more productive and more positive.

I have thanked God for having Chris in my life. He is truly heaven sent. I could not ask for more. I am just simply grateful for what I have right now and enjoy life while we can. God bless everyone!.

Trip to Snow

We went to snow (pass Cisco grove after Boreal Inn) on January 2nd and it was Casey's first time to play in the snow and sled...she was very happy. It was a lot of fun. We had a great time! Trip to snow

A day-trip to Six Flags

We went to six flags with my mother in-law (9/6). It was a nice trip and was excited about the six flags but when we were there at six flags, the excitement constantly change, to be honest the six flags thing didn't excite me at all. It's hard to believe that some people choose six flags over Disneyland, the Disneyland fireworks show alone is worth a trip not to mention the rides there. I don't mind long lines but I want to make sure it worth to wait. Casey and I tried their Thomas the train ride at six flags since my daughter loves Thomas, I would say not worth to wait for long lines. The best part on this trip I had my daughter and mother in-law with me that day to enjoy the rest of the day and of course Zachary, too! Took a few photos from this trip at six flags photos.

Deciding what to wear for a costume party is hard to imagine especially when you were at the store looking for the costly costume- unless you are willing to spend money for it. Two weeks before the party, Chris and I came up with an idea, why not be a Bride and groom and Casey would be our flower girl. Actually, this idea made us ecstatic. The feeling of excitement enveloped me the moment I thought of trying on my gown. I was so excited to know that I get to wear my wedding gown again and Chris couldn't wait to wear his Barong. The fact that were both not willing to spend money for this party. But two days before the party, I changed my mind; I don't want to wear my wedding gown especially the attendance will be way too crowded and I am pretty sure my wedding gown will get dirty and really didn't want this to happen. It's a good thing, a friend of mine has extra costume that I could borrow. So here am I, Dorothy. My husband was the Gynecologist-Dr. Seymour Bush and of course, Casey was the Cinderella as always. I bought Casey's Cinderella costume when she was 3 years old. She loves this costume and she's been wearing this many times. We didn't win the costume contest but we had a great time and I love the Dorothy, it's sooo cute!   Everyone in the group keep teasing Chris and started calling him, Dr. Bush. That is so funny! I just finished my power walk at home exercise and guess what, this morning I did 3 mile walk. It feels good to be in motion. I love the boosted walking but my favorite is the side steps and the kick back. I know I can do it for my body is designed to be in motion. I love the walk at home DVD, I’ve been doing this  for 3 weeks and it has become a habit now. I felt my day is not complete without doing my walk at home exercise. I fully recommend this DVD, for healthy issue, this is good for you; this is the easy way to walk off extra weight and slim trim tummy without having signed up for any gym club. This will never be a pain in your wallet. I’m glad I purchased this DVD and will become my best friend.
